Haskell ArchitectsBentleigh Secondary College’s specialist learning environment is designed to support practical, collaborative and cross-curricular learning through a flexible and contemporary teaching setting.
The project incorporates two dedicated Home Economics rooms, providing purpose-built facilities for practical learning while maintaining the flexibility to support a range of teaching approaches. The spaces are planned to accommodate both individual and group-based activities, allowing teachers to adapt the environment to suit different lesson formats and learning needs.
Strong connections between the learning areas encourage collaboration and enable the spaces to support broader cross-curricular opportunities beyond traditional Home Economics teaching. The result is a functional and adaptable specialist facility that supports varied modes of learning and enhances the day-to-day teaching experience.
