Ivanhoe Aquatic and Leisure Centre Redevelopment
The project involves demolishing the existing pools and pool hall which are past their current life, and the construction of 2 new pool halls including –
- 25m pool
- toddler pool
- learn to swim pool
- 20m warm water pool
- spa
- sauna
- steam room
The new extensions are designed as 5-star green star and have a fabric first building fabric approach (Passive House) and site electrification. The technical, operational and ESD requirements around this project are complex due to the nature of the scope and required rigorous consultation and planning.
