Baringa Special School – Stage 1 & 2

Haskell Architects designed and delivered both Stage 1 and Stage 2 of the Baringa Special School redevelopment, supporting the growth of a specialist education campus for students with mild intellectual disability across the Gippsland region.

The project delivers three distinct Learning Centres for Primary, Middle and Senior School students, supported by specialist and dedicated support spaces. The planning creates clear age-based zones, brings senior learning areas closer to appropriate amenities, and provides additional capacity for increasing Prep enrolments. Strong connections between new and existing buildings help unify the campus, while flexible learning and support spaces create a more inclusive, functional and adaptable environment for students and staff.
