Eltham High School’s new STEAM Centre is designed as a flexible and connected learning environment that supports contemporary approaches to teaching and learning across Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics.
The design moves beyond the traditional classroom model, creating a series of adaptable, multi-use spaces that can accommodate different group sizes, teaching styles and project-based activities. Strong visual and physical connections between learning areas support collaboration, team teaching and greater interaction across disciplines.
Flexible planning allows the centre to respond to changing educational needs over time, while integrated learning environments encourage experimentation, making and shared learning. The result is a cohesive and future-focused facility that supports a diverse range of learning experiences.
