The redevelopment at Reservoir Primary School combines a new Gymnasium and Amenities building with refurbishment works to the existing Main Block, creating a more cohesive and contemporary learning environment across the campus. The new gymnasium is expressed through a bold material and colour palette, with deep green and charcoal cladding complemented by bright yellow accents that give the building a strong and recognisable identity. The form responds to the scale of the existing school while introducing a more contemporary architectural language, with generous openings and sheltered connections strengthening the relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces.
Alongside the new facilities, refurbishment works to the Main Block improve the functionality and presentation of the existing building, allowing the new and retained elements to work together as part of a coordinated campus upgrade. The project enhances amenity, accessibility and overall usability while providing the school with a durable and distinctive facility designed to support physical activity and the broader needs of the school community.
