Sunshine Holy Apostles Anglican Church
Haskell Architects have designed a new Church and Community Hub for the Anglican Church in Sunshine. The project involved frequent consultation with the Vicar, Anglican Diocese, Anglicare and other stakeholders to ensure the facility accommodated the needs of all end users. Given the site was located within an area comprising a variety of zones and uses, we liaised extensively with a Planning Consultant to ensure the design was consistent with relevant planning controls and policies.
The development includes a church, chapel, expandable community gathering spaces, café-style kitchen, opportunity shop, staff offices, interview/ counselling rooms and a community hall. Anglicare adjoins the church and will offer services to children, young people and families in crisis.
