Werribee Open Range Zoo – Safari Station
Haskell Architects designed a new Safari Tour Station at Werribee Open Range Zoo. As the Station was constructed within the ‘Pula Reserve’ Walking Trail, the architecture was required to reflect an African style in keeping with the interpretive feel of this area.
The design included the following elements:
- Tour Station with 75m zones for Pick up and drop off of passengers.
- Public Toilets with appropriate wheelchair and parent accessibility, female toilets 4 pans, Male – 2 pans 3 urinals.
- Pram/Stroller storage area capacity of approximately 150 units.
