Kubu River – Hippopotamus Exhibit
Werribee Open Range Zoo and Zoos Victoria embarked on an innovative scheme for the $6.4M Hippo Marsh exhibit, which delivers a unique experience of hippos in a landscape thematically representing the Okavango Delta of Botswana.
Advanced procurement documentation for soft landscape and filtration planting and tendering, enabled the scheduling of plant production, to deliver plants of specified type and size, in large volumes to meet the establishment program for the Filtration Wetlands and thematic landscapes of the ‘Hippo Marsh’.
